2000 Rolex Submariner 'No Date’ Ref. 14060 Box, Papers and 2025 Rolex Service

There’s no wonder why the Rolex Submariner Ref. 14060 has become a sough-after watch for most watch appreciators.

 

Before Rolex introduced the ceramic 114060 in 2012, there was a time where things were made better. This time was when the 14060 was born.

 

Originally born in 1990 as the Rolex Submariner 14060, it was the successor to the legendary 5513 (introduced in 1962). It remained in production until 2001, after which it was replaced by the 14060M, which included improvements like the addition of the "Maxi" dial (with larger markers and hands) and an upgraded movement from the cal. 3000 to the 3130. In 2007, the 14060M became a certified chronometer which added 2 extra lines to the text.

 

The earlier 14060 are always looked out by collectors as they remind of the original 5513, with the clean, symmetrical 2-liner dial. It has a lot that evokes the spirit of the original Sub from 1954; it was the last sport model to feature drilled through lug holes, a stamped bracelet clasp, stamped end links, and an aluminum bezel insert. All hallmarks of the original.

Offered for sale here is a Rolex Submariner Ref. 14060 with 2-liner dial which dates to the year 2000.

 

The black glossy dial is perfect, with no blemishes, spotting or stains contrasting perfectly with the applied indices. It features a 2-liner no date line, just as the original Subs from the early 50s.

 

The stainless-steel case is in excellent condition showing sharp bevels, as it has been freshly serviced by Rolex. The case back remains in the same condition. The unidirectional bezel is also completely perfect.

 

It comes suited on the original Rolex Oyster 93150 stainless steel bracelet with 501B end links, AB9 clasp code and divers’ extension that remains in excellent condition with hardly any stretch at all.

 

It is running great and keeping time, due to the recent service by the manufacturer.

 

It is presented as a very complete full set which includes the original inner box, manuals, booklets, hang tags (including the serialized tag), original punched guarantee papers, Rolex Service Card and service invoice detailing the full serviced it passed at Rolex Frankfurt on the 11th January 2025 which included a dial swap, complete movement overhaul, case and bracelet polishing and replacement of damaged parts like the crown.
