The watch offered here for sale is a two-tone Ref. 1601 Datejust from 1979.
The sunburst finish ‘Pie-Pan’ champagne dial remains in stunning condition. All lume plots are complete and present, having aged to a creamy patina hue, matching with that on the hands.
The stainless steel case remains in good, thick condition, showing normal signs of wear and presenting sharp bevels. The case back remains in the same condition, protected by a generic sticker.
The 18K yellow gold fluted bezel is also in great shape, with no mayor dents or scratches.
The original acrylic crystal remains clean, showing only some minor dust spots.
The Rolex automatic cal. 1570 is running well and keeping time, as it has been recently serviced.
It is suited on a 20mm leather strap with stainless steel buckle and cream stitching, matching perfectly with the watch.
Overall, an honest original vintage Rolex watch that is ready to be worn and enjoyed.
Macros of dial and case are available under request, as well as service pictures.
